This Spanish is designed to help you build a better rapport with your Spanish-Speaking Patients. If you are a nurse, doctor, social worker, therapist, or other health care professional, this course "Interview and Explain" is for you. Fine-tune your interpersonal language skills to successfully execute the patient-intake process in Spanish as well as your Spanish presentational language skills to be able to explain your job function to patients, families, and staff members.

Expected outcomes for students enrolled in this course are:
Ask and answer basic questions related to the patient intake process.
Listen to and understand Spanish-Speaking patients talk but their needs, preferences, fears, and families.
Discuss patient protocols and levels of access to care.
Talk about and explain your job function to patients, their families, and other healthcare workers.
Overall successful course completion of the Spanish language course at the B1 or B2 CEFL level of language proficiency.

Vocabulary will be learned through using a variety of text-types such as songs, poems, video as well as games.
